Subject: DO WHAT AS I SAY
Question: A long time ago my dad always told me to get all my important things done first
then I’ll have time to myself, but on the other hand my dad doesn’t do that.
Why is that?

Answer: Dear Cameron:
This is a question which is as old as time. The answer is simple. Parents want the very best for their children. They want their lives to be even better than theirs and for them to be even better people than they are right now. They cannot help this it is just what happens to all of us when we become parents. It helps us survive as people and become better as each generation progresses so does the world.
What you are asking is why does you dad tell you to do something he doesn’t do for himself. It is something he thinks will help you become a better person. Are you getting the important things done or do you forget after you have time to yourself? (This wasn’t mentioned in your posting.)
Personally I take care of both and not necessarily all at once. It is important to take care of yourself so you can get the important things done. Maybe he didn’t have someone who told him he was the most important “thing” to get done. Possibly?

QUESTION: Whenever my dad asks me to do something and I say “I’ll do it later” then he
would say “there’s no such thing as later”, but on the other hand he does the
opposite.
Why is that?

Answer: Dear C;
Think about it. There is no reality of “later” only NOW. You exist only in the moment. Later becomes now and therefore later does not exist in reality. Pretty smart dad isn’t he?
